Patch Notes 0.3
Hello, explorers!
This update brings exciting new content, featuring new Amikins, Teleportation, Incubator and more! We've made significant balance changes based on your valuable feedback, fixed numerous bugs, and enhanced the game's overall polish. Enjoy the improvements!
Incubator – Hatch Amikins from Eggs!
Engage in battles with Amikins, befriend them, and now — hatch your very own!
As you explore the enchanting realm of Amiterra, you'll find Amikin nests. Looting these nests earns you a valuable resource: eggs. But beware — the nests are well-protected.
Eggs come in five elemental types:
- Physical
- Earth
- Water
- Fire
- Electric (coming later)
Start hatching by constructing an Incubator at the Nexus Tree, available starting from level 8. Successfully hatch 50 eggs of the same type — whether they are collected or bought — and you are guaranteed to receive a second-evolution Powerful Amikin. Keep in mind that hatching takes time, although eggs purchased from the store do not require incubation and hatch immediately.
More slots for Amikins – now available!
Console can now be upgraded to level 4, allowing you to expand your Amikin storage to 55 slots. Upgrading the Console not only increases storage capacity but also extends the time Amikins can work while you're AFK.
Gotta catch ‘em all!
Teleportation is now available!
Located near the center of the Nexus Tree area, you'll find a mysterious platform — that's it! Step onto it and watch the magic unfold.
You're fortunate, as this device functions perfectly, unlike its counterpart under the bridge at the Stone Echoes location, which you will need to repair. Once fixed, the reward is significant: teleporting back to the Nexus Tree will be free of charge. However, traveling from the Nexus Tree to Stone Echoes will cost 5 Nexus Gemlets.
Imagine teleporting home with a full bag of loot after a productive outing, skipping the long trek back. Isn't that a relief?
Discover New Amikins!
The diverse fauna of Amiterra welcomes two new Amikins — meet Tokusa and Moonstride!
- Tokusa is an electric-type common Amikin found in the Stone Echoes area. Its working skills include handyman and energizer (this skill will be required in the future to ensure work of certain high-tier buildings.)
- Moonstride is a physical-type rare Powerful Amikin that is not currently available in any location of the game. However, you can earn this ally as a reward for hatching 50 physical eggs in the incubator. Moonstride's working skills are miner and farmer.
Various Gameplay Rebalances
Character Level Influence on Gameplay
- The damage you deal and receive now depends more on whether your level is higher or lower than the enemy's. Watch the indicator under the Amikin's HP bar to decide whether to engage in combat or if it's wiser to further strengthen your character.
- Your ability to capture an Amikin is now influenced by the level difference between you and the Amikin — capturing an Amikin becomes more difficult as the level difference decreases.
Amikin Power Enhancements
- The benefits of upgrading Amikins have been significantly increased. Each additional star now provides a substantial boost to an Amikin's attributes.
- Second and third evolution Amikins are now much more powerful and will appear with special icons on the mini-map. Be sure to prepare well before engaging them.
Resource Distribution Adjustments
Now, locations have their own resource specializations – Starweed Meadows now has a lot more Metal Scrap, enhancing your farming ventures. Meanwhile, Mirrorwater Lake is a key spot to find Fiber and Berries. Stone and Metal Scrap have moved back to Starweed Meadows, and if you're looking for a lot of stone, Stone Echo is the spot to go.
- The availability of Metal Scrap at Starweed Meadows has been increased to make your farming more convenient and profitable.
- Fiber and Berries are no longer available at Starweed Meadows but continue to be accessible at Mirrorwater Lake.
- Stone and Metal Scrap are no longer found at Mirrorwater Lake. Instead, head to Starweed Meadows to gather these resources, with an even greater abundance of stone available at Stone Echo location.
Berry and Fiber Gardens!
Streamline your routine — focus on other tasks!
Introducing two new buildings: Berry and Fiber Gardens. They will supply you with a steady stream of berries and fiber, respectively.
To gather resources from these buildings, you'll need an Amikin with the farmer work class. Get started and let the gardens do the work!
Other Changes and Improvements!
- Based on your feedback, the durability of weapons and armor has been increased by 15-20%.
- The behavior of working Amikins has been significantly improved, so they'll now complete tasks with greater enthusiasm.
- You can now build the Timber Yard earlier, starting at level 10, and the time to gather one log has been reduced from 120 seconds to 90 seconds.
- Crafting Amidice d4 no longer requires physical essence.
- (For new players) Mirrorwater Lake is now directly accessible from the Nexus Tree location, and you no longer need to pass through Starweed Meadows to unlock it.
