New Resources

Amiterra is bursting with hidden gems and never stops amazing us with its rich flora, fauna, and resource veins. To make crafting gear more fun and less repetitive, we're rolling out a bunch of new resources.

Introducing 2 completely new resources:

  • Wax (Tier 2, found at Stone Echo)
  • Acid Sap (Tier 3, found at Stormforge Plateau)

Additionally, here are 7 new crafting resources:

  • Iron Ingots
  • Refined Wax
  • Refined Polymer
  • Chemical Extract
  • Acid-Washed Block
  • Etched Steel Ingot
  • Polywax

You can find the complete layout of the updated resources HERE.

It might take a little time to get used to the new stuff, but these changes are going to make the whole crafting process way more interesting and fulfilling!

Crafting System and Economy Changes

06.jpg

We're making a ton of changes to the crafting processes and the game's economy to give players more opportunities to optimize resource collection. We're packing locations with more materials and overhauling most of the game's recipes to deepen, diversify, and enhance the gameplay experience.

Here are the key changes:

  • We've made big updates to how you craft resources: some items now need fewer materials, while others have entirely new recipes. For example, you no longer need Metal Scrap to make a Wooden Plank. This is just one of dozens of changes.
  • Resources specific to each tier will now be much more plentiful in their respective locations. For example, Stormforge Plateau will see a x5 increase in the availability of Crystallized Polymer.
  • Every workstation now features an auto function, giving you more flexibility in your workflows: optimize the routine and spend more time exploring.
  • Stone Quarry, Scrap Station, Timber Yard, Fiber Garden, Stone Cutter, and Medicine Lab now have new levels for upgrades.
  • Tier 1 and Tier 2 have merged, making the Repair Workbench less demanding. Now, you can repair basic items without any upgrades.
  • Stone Quarry is now accessible starting from level 15.
  • The recipes for constructing most benches and some equipment have been updated. Additionally, building workstations now requires a wider variety of essences rather than just the physical one.
  • Resources of a specific tier can now only be mined with tools of that tier or higher, leading to the introduction of new Tier 2 Pickaxe and Axe.

In truth, there are tons more tweaks all over the game. We've basically checked every nook and cranny. Explore and share your thoughts!

New Amikins

02b.jpg

Amiterra welcomes new Amikins: meet Beavrock and Budbruda

Beavrock is the second evolution earth-type Amikin that can only be obtained through the evolution of Beavleaf. Beavrock working skills are Handyman and Woodcutter. Who needs leg day with these genes, huh?

Budbruda is the second evolution earth-type Amikin that can only be obtained through the evolution of BudBud. Budbruda’s working skills are Handyman, Farmer and Miner.

Working Skills Levels

Amikin types now feature distinct working skill levels that enhance their efficiency. It's key to note that these skills are consistent and not subject to randomness.

Currently, 4 Amikins get Level 2 in specific working skills:

  • Budbruda (Farming lvl 2)
  • Beavrock (Woodcutting lvl 2)
  • Bunnete (Handyman lvl 2)
  • Rocknar (Mining lvl 2)

Plans are in place to expand the Ami list with new levels of skills in upcoming updates.

Other Improvements

  • Now, Amikins of higher evos and levels drop much more essence.
  • You can now freely drag and drop Amikin cards in the Ami-storage with a simple flick of the wrist, similar to how you manage items in your inventory.
