Patch Notes 0.9
Hey, explorers! In this update, get ready for a smoother crafting experience and a revamped gear creation system, bringing more depth and strategy to the game. Plus, we’re adding an exciting new location – Deeproot Forest. Let’s dive into the details!
Variable Stats for Items
Gear crafting is about to get a lot more dynamic – from now on, every crafted item will have randomized stats upon creation.
Here’s what you need to know:
- All crafted gear will now feature random stats for key attributes like damage or defense, in addition to durability. Similar to Amikins, each item will be ranked from D to SS – the higher the rank, the more powerful the item. Keep in mind, this system works both ways, meaning lower-ranked items will be less effective.
- We’ve updated the item durability system to help keep your inventory clear of low-tier items. Now, items ranked below A will eventually wear out completely, freeing up space for more valuable gear while items ranked A and above will never be destroyed completely. Instead, they are seen as valuable and worth repairing.
We believe these changes will add more depth to gear management, encouraging you to continuously strive for the best possible equipment.
Crafting Changes & New Resources
Crafting just got a whole lot more exciting and diverse. Not only have we made changes to crafting, but we've also streamlined the resource tiers, making the system more consistent.
Crafting Changes:
- No more using lower-tier items to craft higher-tier ones. Simply gather the required resources, and you're good to go!
- With the new crafting-centric approach, repairing your gear now costs the same as crafting it — if it's half-broken, you’ll pay half the cost! So, why bother with repairs? To preserve high-quality items with top ratings, of course!
Resources Changes:
In addition to introducing new resources, we've refined the crafting process, which meant phasing out some older resources from the game.
New Resources:
- Crimson Log
- Abrasive Sand
- Basaltite
- Chromium Ore
- Glowroot
- Smooth Stone
- Stormdew
Removed Resources:
- Iron Ingots
- Refined Wax
- Polywax
- Etched Steel Ingot
- Refined Polymer
- Chemical Extract
No need to worry! You’ll be compensated for any items that have been removed.

New Location: Deeproot Forest
Welcome to Deeproot Forest, a mysterious land brimming with towering ancient trees. These majestic trees produce valuable Crimson Logs, essential for crafting, and are home to Amiterra insects with their wax-filled hives.
In this location, you'll be able to gather the following Tier 2 resources:
- Crimson Log
- Wax (Deeproot Forest is the main location where you can farm this resource)
- Glowroot
By the way, there’s a partially built teleport in this location – finish the construction, and you’ll be able to teleport there from your base with a single click, for a small fee.
New Structures
Free up more time for your adventures by having your Amikins take care of even more routine tasks! Introducing two new structures:
- Crimson Grove, located on the south side of your base, ideal for harvesting Crimson Logs (unlocks for construction at level 22).
- Sand Quarry, located on the north side of your base, perfect for gathering Abrasive Sand (unlocks for construction at level 23).
Other Improvements
- The mini-map now highlights resources scattered on the ground, including Amidices.
- Repair Bench now has 2 levels of upgrade instead of 4.
- When capturing an Amikin, you can now instantly see its rating directly on the screen interface, making the capture process more convenient.
