Patch Notes 2.0: The Era of Technology
Explorers, welcome to Update 2.0 — The Era of Technology! Amiterra is entering a whole new stage of adventure, opening the way to its biggest step forward yet. Tier 5 is finally here, bringing new ways to gather and produce resources, power crafting with electricity, and expand your journey with new gear, systems, and goals to chase.
Let’s take a closer look at what awaits you.
THE WORLD HAS CHANGED SHAPE

Amiterra now has a whole new layout: instead of 2 locations per tier, each tier now has 1 location, making progression easier to follow and each region easier to navigate. At the same time, the amount of content stays the same — every tier still includes 2 sub-locations and 2 dungeons (except Tier 1, which has only 1 cave).
So, this new structure gives each part of the world a clearer role. Main locations are now more focused on exploration, quests, and early fights, while sub-locations are the main places for farming resources, catching Amikins, and preparing your gear.
Dungeons are where the more valuable rewards await, including blueprints and crafting materials for uncommon gear, while other dungeons open the road to the next tier. This way, the path forward feels more natural: gather what you need, grow stronger, take on tougher challenges, and then move ahead.
And now that the world follows this new shape, there is one more big step waiting for you.
TIER 5 IS HERE!

Tier 5 is finally available and raises the maximum level to 100. If you have already collected the Ancient Components, you can unlock the path to the new tier by completing the required quest and enter Sparkfall Canyon.
Sparkfall Canyon comes with fresh sub-locations and dungeons, where you can farm new resources, collect new blueprints and eggs, and gather materials for crafting new Tier 5 gear. This is only the beginning of everything Update 2.0 has to offer.
NEW PRODUCTION

The age of technology brings new ways to craft and gather resources.
Introducing Generator
Meet the Generator — a brand-new base structure and the power source behind this new age of crafting. To get it working, assign an Electric Amikin to the Generator and place your benches nearby.
Some Tier 4 & 5 crafting needs a little extra power to get going. You can place the recipe as usual, but it will only start once the bench is connected to a working Generator with an Electric Amikin on duty. This may mean moving a few things around on your base, but once everything is set up, your new production line is ready to roll.
To help Tier 4 players get started, we have also sent the materials needed to build the Generator to your Inbox.
Launch New Production
For the first time, resources are produced outside your base. Need resources are found in the Rusted Shallows, and there is simply no way to run this kind of production at Nexus Field. That is why 5 separate production sites are waiting to be repaired there, each tied to a different Tier 4 resource.
Once a site is repaired, you will need to assign an Amikin with the right work type through the new interface before production can begin. To bring these resources back home, build the matching storage on your base for each production line. Once everything is in place, the output from Rusted Shallows will be delivered automatically.
Power Up Benches
Several key benches can now be upgraded.
— Workstation Lvl.5 — Unlock crafting for Tier 5 weapons and tools. Uncommon versions are required blueprints from Canyon Cave.
— Equipment Bench Lvl.5 — Craft Tier 5 armor and backpacks. Uncommon versions are required blueprints from Canyon Cave.
— Repair Bench Lvl.5 — Restore durability on broken gear and keep your best equipment ready for the next fight.
— Incubator Lvl.5 — Hatch Medium Eggs, each with a chance to contain an Epic Amikin, including Aquarrior from the Medium Water Egg.
— Medical Lab Lvl.5 — Collect Bonebloom in Sparkfall Canyon and prepare Bonebloom Bandage for tougher fights.
— Amigear Lab Lvl.3 — Craft the new Amidice D8 to increase Catch Mastery by 800.
RESOURCES REIMAGINED

Tier 4 and Tier 5 now use new materials, new tools, and new ways to produce resources. Here is what changed and how it works.
New Resource Flow
Tier 4 resources have been completely reworked and are no longer built around basic natural materials. Tier 5 follows the same advanced material logic, so both tiers now feel like part of the same technological era.
All existing Tier 4 resources have already been converted into the new materials, but they will remain in the storages where they are currently placed:
— Coral → Raw Carbide
— Pearlwood → Raw Silicon
— Seaweed → Volatile Reagent
— Relic Alloy → Dirty Chemical
— New resource: Rough Rod (sent to your inbox)
Since the old storages now belong only to Tier 1, 2, & 3 resources, you will first need to build the new matching storages and then move these converted materials into them.
Dungeon-only materials have also been reworked and converted. They can now be crafted by advanced players from Level 60 instead of being available only as drops:
— Tempered Blade → Raw Titanium
— Fastener Kit → Dirty Polymer
— Shield Matrix → Helio CPU One
— Thermal Battery → Ammonal Charge & Acid Battery
Do not worry: their converted versions will remain in your Relic Storage, and any extra materials that did not fit have been sent to your Inbox. Use the new storages to move these resources into the right place.
New Tools: Drill and Pump
Your old axes and pickaxes will no longer help in Rusted Shallows and Sparkfall Canyon to gather the new Tier 4 & 5 resources, so you will need new tools:
— The Drill — used to mine solid advanced materials.
— The Pump — used to pump liquids into canisters..
Both tools can be crafted at the Workstation, but do not forget the Generator mentioned earlier — as Tier 4 & 5 items only craft once your production line is powered.
New Benches
New resources also mean new production. You will need to build new benches to turn your new Tier 4 & 5 resources into the components needed for further crafting. If you already had the previous Tier 4 benches on your base, you do not need to rebuild them — they have been automatically converted into the new versions.
— Stone Workbench (Relic Steel Parts) → Carbide Workbench (Raw Titamium)
— Wood Workbench (Pearlbeam) → Silicon Workbench (Helio CPU One)
— Cloth Workbench (Seaweave) → Reagent Workbench (Ammonal Charge)
— Furnace Workbench (Сoncrete Block) → Chemical Workbench (Dirty Polymer)
— New Workbench: Rod Workbench — The materials needed to build the additional new bench are sent to the Inbox of players Level 60 and above.
NEW AMIKINS

The Codex roster keeps growing with new Amikins to discover, new shiny forms to hunt, and more powerful creatures waiting out in the wild.
New Epic Amikins
Meet Firemoth, a new Epic Fire Support that will help you stay in the fight, boost your side, and bring extra pressure to the enemy.
And Armadillo, a new Epic Earth Tank that will draw enemy attention, take the pressure off you, and stand strong on the front line.
At the moment, both of these Amikins are only available in the store.
More Wild Epics in the Wild
Bushwik joins as an Epic Earth Support, while Gronyx enters as an Epic Electric Tank. They can now be caught in Sparkfall Canyon for the first time.
New Shiny
The following Fire Support Amikins now have shiny forms to discover: Flarehood and Flarewing.
EXTRA CHANGES

To make the new tier feel complete and keep progression aligned with the new world structure, we also updated several supporting systems around gear, paths, and progression.
— Egg Rewards Rebalanced — Eggs have been rebalanced, so they now more often give Amikins that match your current tier, including newer ones.
— Backpack Rework — The Tier 4 backpack can now be crafted only after you find its uncommon blueprint in Rusted Shallows cave. Once equipped, it gives 20% damage reduction in Tier 4 locations, sub-locations, and dungeons, but now comes with 10 slots instead of 15.
— New Tier 5 Backpack — Tier 5 backpacks follow the same rule and must also be unlocked through an uncommon blueprint found in Sparkfall Canyon cave. Once crafted, they give 20% damage reduction in Tier 5 locations, sub-locations, and dungeons, and come with 15 slots.
— Adventure Paths Upgraded — Adventure Paths were adjusted to match the new world structure and progression flow. For Tier 5 players, new tasks are now available from Levels 81 to 100 in the Main Path and Cyclic Paths, with rewards updated to better match the new tier.
— Repair Now Uses Batteries — Some gear now requires batteries for repair. Players in earlier tiers can find them in dungeons, while Tier 4 and above players can craft them on their own.
— Gear Progression Updated — Gear visuals have been rearranged to fit the new five-tier progression. Tier 3 now has a fresh look of its own, Tier 4 now uses the previous Tier 3 look while keeping its Tier 4 power, and Tier 5 takes the place of the previous Tier 4 look as the new endgame gear tier.
— Tasks Updated — Tasks and requirements have been updated to match the new world structure and progression flow.
— Routes Updated — Routes between regions have also been updated to match the new world structure.
