What Is a Battle Group?

Your Battle Group is your team of ready-to-fight companions. You start with one slot for an Active Amikin, but as you grow, your group can expand to six.

• Active Amikin: Your current companion, summoned instantly in battle.
• Summoned Amikin: The ally actively fighting alongside you.
• Team Lineup: Manage your full roster in your inventory or Amikin storage.

The Role of Amikins in Your Group

Each Amikin slot has a status:

• Locked Slot: Unlock this space by upgrading your skills or gear.
• Empty Slot: Ready to house a new ally.
• Damaged Slot: Requires repair before use.
• Unavailable Amikin: Injured, hungry, or resting in storage.

Gathering Your Battle Group

To assemble your team:

1. Open your Amikin Storage to select or swap your lineup. However, if you swap Amikins directly from storage, you’ll be defenseless during the process—so choose your moment wisely.
2. Use your Armband for faster swaps during combat, allowing you to summon a new Amikin without leaving yourself exposed.
3. In arenas, your team is locked once combat begins, and you won’t be able to make any changes.

Tip: Take advantage of the Armband’s speed during fights in the open world, and always plan your lineup ahead of time for arenas and boss battles.

Summoning Your Allies

Your HUD above the throw button shows your active Amikin. Here’s how summoning works:

• Summon: Press the button to call your Amikin to your side.
• Recall: Return them to safety when needed.

If your ally falls or becomes too weak, they’ll retreat to storage to recover. With multiple Amikins, you can cycle through your roster as needed.
